Biochem/physiol Actions

N-ニトロソジエチルアミン（NDMA）は、試験を行ったすべての動物種で発がん性を有します。標的になる主な器官は、鼻腔、気管、肺、食道、および肝臓です。NDMAはシトクロムP450システムから影響を受け、発がん性メチルジアゾニウムイオンを生成させます。しかし、Pseudomonas（シュードモナス）のような微生物は、NDMAをN-ニトロメチルアミン（NTMA）とホルムアルデヒドに代謝します。
