General description

ナリジクス酸はキノロンの一種で、細菌性トポイソメラーゼ II 型酵素の活性を阻害することができ、それによって細菌の複製を停止させることができます。グラム陽性菌よりもグラム陰性菌に対する抗菌剤として期待されています。ナリジクス酸は尿路感染症の管理において研究されています。
