General description
フロログルシノールはトリヒドロキシベンゼンであり、抗血栓、抗微生物、抗マラリア、がん化学防御、抗HIVおよび抗リーシュマニア活性を有します。フロログルシノール(PG)は、土壌病害に対する抗菌剤である2,4-ジアセチルフロログルシノール(DAPG)の生合成前駆体です。多機能性であるため、有用な中間体です。
Application
Phloroglucinol has been used to prevent hyperhydricity by promoting lignification of shoots. It has also been used in PG (phloroglucinol)-sucrose treatments for growth and development of in vitro derived shoot tips.
