General description
RPMI 1640 培地は、1966 年に、ムーアらによって、ロズウェルパーク記念研究所において開発されました。マッコイ5A 培地は、懸濁培養におけるリンパ芽球様細胞の維持のために設計されましたが、その後はさまざまな種類の足場依存性細胞にも使用できることが示されています。′当初は血清補助剤とともに使用することを意図していたRPMI1640は、血清非存在下でいくつかの細胞株を支持することが示されています。融合プロトコルおよびハイブリッド細胞の増殖でも広く使用されています。この培地は、ヒトの正常白血球と腫瘍性白血球の培養に適しています。
Preparation Note
1x濃度において、0.3 g/L L-グルタミン、2.0 g/L 炭酸水素ナトリウム、0.001 g/L 葉酸を添加してください。
