レベチラセタムは、抗てんかん作用のあるピロリジンです。
レベチラセタムは、抗てんかん作用のあるピロリジンです。レベチラセタムの立体選択的結合は、中枢神経系におけるシナプス細胞膜に限定され、末梢組織での結合はみられません。レベチラセタムは、通常の神経興奮性に影響を与えずにバースト発火を抑制します。このことから、てんかん様のバースト発火の過同期および発作の伝達を選択的に抑制している可能性があります。
