General description

Pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control, provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the preparation of in-house working standards. Myristyl Alcohol was used for filling the hollow interiors of gold nanocages in the fabrication of new theranostic system having unique feature of photoacoustic imaging. It was used in fabrication of temperature-regulated drug release system based on phase-change materials.

Application

These Secondary Standards are qualified as Certified Reference Materials. These are suitable for use in several analytical applications including but not limited to pharma release testing, pharma method development for qualitative and quantitative analyses, food and beverage quality control testing, and other calibration requirements.

Analysis Note

These secondary standards offer multi-traceability to the USP and EP (PhEur) primary standards, where they are available.

The perturbing effects of n-alkanols (pentanol, decanol and tetradecanol) in egg phosphatidylcholine and dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine multilamellar vesicles were studied with five fluorescent probes, 1-(4'-trimethylaminophenyl)-6-phenylhexa-1,3,5-triene (TMA-DPH), 1,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-hexatriene, and 2-, 7-, and 12-(9-anthroxyloxy)stearic acid (2-, 7-, and 12-AS). The small envelope (E) protein of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) is known to possess the properties of an ion-channel protein, and in the present study we show that the PRRSV E protein is N-terminal myristoylated. The PRRSV
