General description
カルシウムは非常に反応性が高く無毒な金属であり、還元剤として広く使用されています。また、鋼の改良、脱硫剤、合金剤としても使用されます。カルシウムはテルミット法または電解法によって製造されます。
Application
カルシウムは以下のような用途に使用されています：
- チタンの機械的合金化におけるプロセス制御剤として、最大の粉末収率と微細構造の安定性を得るために使用されます。
- 金属Zintl相を持つCa8Al3およびCa13Al14の合成前駆体として、また、四面体Snユニットからなる独自のスズ鎖構造を持つCa6.2Mg3.8Snの合成前駆体として使用されます。
- フェノールの酸化反応において、高い選択性を持つ触媒として利用されます。
金属性Zintl相の金属間化合物であるCa8Al3およびCa13Al14の合成に使用されています。
