Application

ヒグロマイシンBは、原核生物および真核生物においてタンパク質合成を阻害するアミノグリコシド系抗生物質です。この抗生物質は、E. coliヒグロマイシン耐性遺伝子（hygまたはhph）を安定して形質移入する真核生物細胞の表現型を選択し維持するために使用されます。

Biochem/physiol Actions

作用機序：本製品は、原核生物におけるm-RNAテンプレートの誤読を誘発してタンパク質合成を阻害することにより作用し、翻訳を阻害する効力があります。

抗菌スペクトル：ヒグロマイシンBは、細菌、真菌およびより高等な真核細胞に対して作用します。

溶液、PBS（リン酸緩衝生理食塩水）中に50 mg/mL、孔径0.2 μmのフィルターでろ過。

Preparation Note

2～8℃で保存します（溶液）。
使用濃度：耐性細胞の選択に推奨される濃度は細胞培地中50～1000 μg/mLです。哺乳類細胞の選択に一般に使用される濃度は200 μg/mLです。しかし、最適濃度は使用する細胞の種類によって異なることがあるため、実験的に決定しなければなりません。
