PX-12は、チオレドキシン酸化還元系とHIF-1a活性を阻害します。PX 12は、低酸素に誘導されるHIF-1a転写活性(IC50 11 nM)と、HT29およびMCF-7腫瘍細胞の増殖(それぞれIC50 1.9、0.9 uM)を阻害します。
