OverviewMILLIPLEX® MAP Canine Pituitary Expanded Panel is a 6-plex kit to be used for the quantification of any or all of the following analytes: Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH), Growth Hormone (GH), Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Luteinizing Hormone (LH), Prolactin,and Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone (TSH).

This kit may be used for the analysis of all or any combination of the above pituitary hormones in canine serum or plasma, canine tissue extract, or cell/tissue supernatant samples.
Background InformationCalled the “master gland” because it controls many other endocrine glands, the pituitary gland secretes a number of key hormones that play important roles in the regulation of metabolism, growth, and reproduction. The Canine Pituitary Expanded Panel thus enables you to focus on the therapeutic potential of reproduction, growth, metabolic homeostasis, and pituitary related diseases such as acromegaly, growth hormone deficiency, diabetes insipidus and pituitary tumors.
