Our Biomax™ membranes are well suited for applications requiring high flux, low-protein binding, and harsh chemical cleaning and sanitization. The PES composite membranes are caustic and chlorine resistant, and they provide a stable hydraulic environment for mechanical strength and integrity. High flux and high retention levels optimize processing speeds and yields.
Ultracel™ PLC membranes
For high-recovery purification, the patented Ultracel™ PLC membranes offer high retention and improved integrity. Casting the regenerated cellulose membrane onto a microporous PE substrate creates a uniform, robust structure. These void-free, composite membranes combine ultra-low protein binding and low fouling with solvent resistance and mechanical strength.
The patented, composite Viresolve™ membranes provide reliable and consistent viral clearance (greater than 3 log removal of viruses). The low-binding polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) structures yield greater than 90% protein recovery. Viresolve™ membranes are appropriate for normal-flow and tangential-flow filtration.
