As the demand for innovative dosage forms increases, Merck is committed to investing in research and development and improving formulation technologies.In July 2013, we opened a new R&D Center for Formulation in Darmstadt, Germany, which features a formulation area with state-of-the-art equipment, analytical and chemistry labs, as well as a fully equipped training center.
Our R&D Center for Formulation is dedicated to helping customers develop oral formulations. Our main areas of competency are: inorganic carriers, controlled release and solubility enhancement. With a team of dedicated application experts, we can provide and develop high-value excipients, enabling us to fully support you every step of the way.
