      Description
      OverviewA water-soluble, non-fluorescent mounting medium. Mounting slides with this material may reduce fluorochrome quenching during analysis. This mounting medium also provides a semi-permanent seal for long-term storage of slide preparations. Can be used in conjuction with Fluorescein, Rhodamine, Texas Red, Cy2, Cy3, Cy5, Phycoerythrin, and Allophycocyanin.

      Application CommentsGuidelines for Use:

      1. Prepare cytocentrifuge preps according to established procedures.
      2. Fix and rehydrate the cell preps.
      3. Remove one slide at a time from aqueous buffer, add 1 drop of FluorPreserve™ directly to the cell prep, mount the cover slip, and press gently with a gauze sponge to remove excess mounting medium and to seal the cover slip.
      4. Allow mounted cell preps to air dry for 5 min before examination.
